Select baseball built on work
Hustle Baseball fields select teams for players 10U through 18U across Chattanooga, Harrison, Hixson and Ooltewah. Open tryouts, real tournaments, real development.
Development, and we mean it
We value real, consistent development and work more than rings and social media clicks. We compete — we just do not let the scoreboard decide what is right for a twelve-year-old. Right way, right reasons, right time.
Questions parents ask
Do your coaches play their own sons?
No. No coach on this staff has a son on the team he coaches — that has been the rule since the program started in 2014. It is the most common complaint families have about travel baseball, and the only way to fix it is to remove the conflict entirely rather than promise to be fair about it.
How much does travel baseball cost with Hustle?
Season fees run between $650 and $1,100 per player depending on age group and how many out-of-town weekends that team plays. That covers league and tournament entry, uniforms and insurance. Hotels and travel are on the family. We give every family the full number in writing before they commit — no surprise assessments mid-season.
How far do you travel?
Our younger teams (10U–11U) stay within about an hour of Chattanooga for almost every weekend. Older teams (15U–18U) will take three or four longer trips a year into Nashville, Knoxville or North Georgia, usually one overnight each.
When and where do you practice?
Two evenings a week during the season, primarily at Central High School Baseball Field in Harrison. Winter workouts move indoors.
What should my son bring to a tryout?
Glove, bat, helmet, cleats and water. A plain grey or navy shirt. Catchers should bring full gear. Nothing else is needed and there is no fee to walk up if you did not pre-register.
How do I pay?
Venmo. You register on this site first so we have your information, then the confirmation screen shows the exact amount, our handle and what to put in the note.
When will we hear back after a tryout?
Within 48 hours, by call or text, either way. You will never be left wondering.
